We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CAD Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and training in the field of computer-aided design.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We are looking for someone with desirably experience of using Autodesk Inventor in mechanical design environment, or enthusiasm to learn it.
The role involves a significant amount of time working on hose body and coupling design models and drawings of our physical products and so is primarily an on-site role. Apprenticeship Training will be with training provider.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed 3D CAD models based on sketches and/or rough models from mechanical engineers
- Creating 2D manufacturing drawings (including specifying suitable tolerances)
- Maintaining accurate Bills of Materials
- Compiling documentation for Design Report Packages
