Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

Web Design and Development:

  • Assist in the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Mainly utilizing CSS, HTML & PHP

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving software-related issues.

System Integration:

  • Help with the integration of different software systems to ensure they work seamlessly together.

Project Assistance:

  • Support IT projects, including the implementation and configuration of new software solutions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of software systems, development processes, and user guides.

Website:

  • Assist in the back end development/ creation of our website

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements.

Data Management:

  • Support data management activities, including data migration, backup, and recovery processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Minimum of [specific requirements, e.g., 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above].

Technical Aptitude:

  • Basic understanding of one programming languages (e.g. PHP, ASP, Python) and basic understanding of (HTML, CSS,Javascript, Jquery)

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Teamwork:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Attention to Detail:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Adaptability:

  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
