What you’ll do at work

Are you ready to build a career in marketing? Excited by the prospect of working with different clients to deliver strategic marketing that delivers results?

We’re looking for a confident communicator with aspirations to learn and grow as part of an established team as an Account Executive. You should be ready to develop and nurture client relationships and support the delivery of ongoing marketing for new prospects and existing clients.

Sometimes every marketing agency needs a little help to produce successful campaigns for their clients. As this company's Account Executive, you’ll act as an important link between our team of internal experts and our clients.

In this role, you’ll be working to understand our client’s goals, and then support the organisation of creative teams to help us produce effective campaigns.

We want passionate people on our team and we want them to excel in the things that they enjoy. We are a rapidly growing company, so talented applicants could easily find themselves leading new projects or working in other areas of interest if they rise to the challenge.

Specifically, the role will involve:

  • Developing client relationships and supporting internal collaboration to successfully deliver projects.
  • Working with clients to understand their requirements, help to build a solution with the team and liaise internally to ensure work is correctly communicated and kept on schedule.
  • Tracking progress on internal systems and support Account Managers with meetings and client communication.
  • Briefing internal teams and collating estimates for work, along with formatting estimates into appropriate documentation when required.
  • Supporting the Account Managers with pitches and onboarding new clients.
  • Understanding business objectives and developing routes to achieving them for clients
  • Liaising with multiple delivery teams to smoothly transition work from ideation to implementation.

Experience you’ll need:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Good organisation
  • Good, accurate writing skills
  • Track record in the ability to work well with teams and collaborate effectively
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage own time and deadlines
  • Passionate about marketing
  • Motivated by operating in a changing, flexible environment
  • Approachable and friendly, easy to build strong personal relationships
  • Calm, organised and a clear thinker
  • Confidence in your ideas and direction
  • Experience within a marketing or customer service role is preferred, but not necessarily essential.
  • Solid grasp of relevant desktop software packages, especially word, excel or their equivalent.
  • A desire to develop their skill set within the marketing industry.
