Summary

A very exciting opportunity to be a part of PJK Associates, a dynamic Mortgage Advice and Protection Company whom are looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator Apprentice. The successful candidate will eventually progress to supporting an adviser in all aspects of managing client files from beginning to end.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Prepare and manage client files in respect of mortgage and protection applications:


• Liaise with clients, lenders, insurers and solicitors throughout the process
• Ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
• Adhere to industry regulation and legislation guidelines as set down by the Financial Conduct Authority and other regulatory bodies

    Level 3 Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship Standard

    The Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship is ideal for individuals beginning an entry level role in the financial sector
    As an entry level role, this apprenticeship provides the foundation knowledge, skills and experience for progression along a number of career paths. The qualified apprentice will be prepared for advancement to positions including senior administrator, mortgage adviser and financial adviser roles.

    An understanding of the role of the appropriate regulatory bodies
    The importance of relationship building with clients and colleagues
    Understanding of processes and procedures relevant to the role
    How to develop commercial awareness

    Professional Qualifications:

    CeMAP1 - awarded by London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF)

    Completion of CeMAP1 will provide a solid foundation for the learner and can lead on to progression to study in other areas

    To help prepare the apprentice for the professional qualification, Apprentices are provided with Simply Academy’s qualification resource package, alongside a structured study plan supported by a series of live revision sessions with our qualified tutors.

    The Apprentice is assigned a dedicated experienced mentor to guide them through the programme. Regular scheduled interactions with the apprentice ensure they are developing the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours required to become competent in the role.

    Essential qualifications

    GCSE in:

    • 5 subjects including maths and english (grade 4 or above)
    • 3 other subjects (grade 4 or above)
