You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality Supervision.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Learn to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Learn the skills and knowledge to ensure that service standards are consistently met and exceeded
  • Support your team in serving food and beverages promptly, adhering to SOP’s
  • Learn to maintain and ensure you and your team set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring tables are clean and properly set with utensils, glassware, and tableware
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of both guests and colleagues
  • Develop the skills to collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure that all menu items meet or exceed established standards, monitoring food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Learn to support and oversee daily operations in the food and beverage department, including dining areas and bar services, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Develop the skills to lead, train, and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding customer service
