Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio) on social media channels.
- Monitor and respond to customer interactions, ensuring a positive online presence
- Oversee content management and updates of the company website, ensuring it is optimised for search engines and user experience
- Regularly review website analytics to track performance and identify areas for enhancement
- Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope
- Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and digital advertising, using various analytics tools
- Provide detailed reports on campaign effectiveness, including insights and recommendations for future strategies
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and channels

Your training plan
As a Content Creator apprentice, you will work to a marketing brief. You will assist with the creation and distribution of creative content for various digital channels, such as social media platforms, podcasts, and blogs, that aim to boost audience engagement.
Generally, your role will consist of conducting important market research and developing creative ideas, but the exciting part is that no two days are the same, as this can take shape through a range of mediums, from copywriting to creating graphics, to editing videos.
Throughout your time as a Content Creator apprentice, you will develop crucial content marketing skills, such as the ability to create engaging content for your target audience on TikTok and Instagram, analyse important metrics using Google Analytics 4, and create powerful graphics and video using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 5)
