Working as a Level 3 Kitchen Team Leader Apprentice you will be one of the staff members responsible for the smooth running of the Kitchen and it's staff. Duties include: preparing, cooking, and presenting food that meets specifications and customer expectations.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

As a Kitchen Team Leader Apprentice, you'll lead by example making sure the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork! You'll support your team by encouraging and helping them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

As a Kitchen Team leader, you will...
-Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations
-Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors
-Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence
-Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service making sure everything runs like clockwork

Your training plan
At Greene King, you will be working towards a Senior Production Chef Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 15 months.
-A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
-A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars
-Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer
-The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE).
