Summary
As a Front of House Apprentice at The Plough, you will have the unique opportunity to learn the essentials of exceptional customer service, gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, and grow into a key role within our team. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and warm demeanor.
- Assist in taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that guests' needs are met promptly and professionally
- Cleaning and clearing tables, managing the glasswash and taking payment
- Learn to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize the dining experience
- Develop an understanding of The Plough’s menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
