Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • As a financial services administrator apprentice, you will provide administrative support to the director of Switchfoot Wealth Limited, a financial planning firm based in Camberley, Surrey.
  • You will assist with client enquiries, prepare reports and documents, maintain records and databases, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be completing basic financial research on behalf of the director (full training and support provided)
  • Answering phones and arranging meetings for the director.
  • You will be assisting in the completion of administration of ongoing client service reviews.
  • Liaising with the paraplanning team to ensure completion of all admin tasks associated with advice.
  • You will also receive on-the-job training and mentoring, as well as study towards a level 3 diploma in financial services administration.
