Summary
We are recruiting an Apprentice Pharmacy assistant to join our small team of dispensary professionals. Working alongside the existing team you will gain knowledge and experience of the Pharmacy sector, whilst completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Delivery of customer service
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & Safety Responsibility
- Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines
- Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
- Data Entry relating to medication
- Labelling and Dispensing
- Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Numerate
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals
