Summary
As an apprentice you will be in a role where you will learn valuable experiences through on-the-job training. You will be provided with hands on experiences needed to gain the qualification. A mentor will be assigned and you will work alongside an experienced team of colleagues who will supervise and guide you throughout your apprenticeship.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We are looking for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification LMP) to join our happy friendly community where children enjoy all aspects of school life. We have a passionate team of staff and governors who are committed to providing the highest standards of education for all our learners. The available opening is for a full apprenticeship and combines the opportunity of paid work with a formal training programme.
We are a highly motivated and committed team, eager to find personnel who want to achieve the highest standards in terms of learning opportunities and progress in all pupils. This is a varied role, the successful candidate must be flexible, show initiative and be able to adapt to the needs of individual and groups of pupils, including those with SEND needs.
We require candidates to display a range of skills including:
- Minimum standard of GCSE (Grade A* - C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Good organisational skills
- The dedication and drive to improve the education of all pupils.
- A passion for teaching and learning and will nurture and inspire our pupils in a kind and caring manner
- Have some knowledge or experience of SEND pupil needs
- Resilience and flexibility of adapting to a variety of situations in a timely manner
- A good ability to using relevant technology/equipment
- Ability to work as a team effectively
- Dedicated to undertake relevant training as necessary to complete qualifications and statutory procedure
