Summary

A Level 3 Data and Office Apprentice is required. This role offers hands-on experience in managing and analysing data, maintaining system security, and providing technical support. Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Data Management: Collect, analyse, and report on data to support business operations.
  • Data Entry: Input employee and client data accurately into various operational platforms.
  • Data Security: Maintain data security and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • System Maintenance: Troubleshoot business systems and assist with technical upgrades and maintenance.
  • Document Handling: Send and receive electronic documents and direct enquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with light administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and ordering stock.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Training Compliance: Complete all educational and training requirements as specified in the apprenticeship programme.
  • General Duties: Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

  • Source and migrate data from already identified different sources.
  • Collect, format and save datasets.
  • Summarise and explain gathered data.
  • Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
  • Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
  • Audit data results.
  • Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
  • Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
  • Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
  • Explain data and results to different audiences in a way that aids understanding.
  • Review own development needs.
  • Keep up to date with developments in technologies, trends and innovation using a range of sources.
  • Clean data i.e. remove duplicates, typos, duplicate entries, out of date data, parse data (e.g. format telephone numbers according to a national standard) and test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity.
  • Operate as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Prioritise within the context of a project.

    More training information

    The apprentice will receive structured training sessions once a week at the training provider’s location, with additional on-the-job training and support provided throughout the workweek.

    Training will be a combination of on-the-job learning at Eco Brite Cleaning Services and formal instruction through an external training provider.
