Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Content Creator/ Social Media Assistant. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in curating captivating content and driving engagement across various social media platforms to elevate brand awareness and achieve our company objectives.

Working hours are flexible but must be between 10.00am - 5.00pm with at least one shift in our Deansgate office. The remaining hours will be spent at our venues and either in the office/ at home editing/ posting.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

We are currently in a very exciting time for our business with the launch of our brand-new platform Hotaly, an all-in-one venue listing solution. With four distinct listing sites targeted at specific audiences there is lots of room for growth and development. 

Your primary focus will be on generating high levels of customer engagement, driving website traffic from social media channels, and contributing to revenue growth through innovative content creation and trend-led concepts.  

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to ensure all efforts are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and plan.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Curate and create engaging content for various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and achieve company goals (Instagram & TikTok). 
  • Utilise the platform Monday.com and Hootsuite to plan, sign off and publish content effectively. 
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the brand while consistently delivering high-quality, revenue-driving content. 
  • Leverage video editing tools and software to produce compelling content. 
  • Collaborate with different departments across the business to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and objectives. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing to inform content strategy.  

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Proficient in using social media (Instagram and TikTok) 
  • Knowledge of scheduling platforms is desirable but not required.
  • Experience or education in social media marketing with a proven track record of success. 
  • Familiarity with video editing tools and software. 
  • Hospitality experience is desirable but not required. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work consistently.

  • Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval.
  • Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
  • Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
  • Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
  • Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.
  • Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns.
  • Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs.
  • Operate effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines.
