Summary

AM Technology manufacture our patented range of chemical reactors for used in the Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical and Life Science industries. We have an exciting opportunity to join our apprenticeship program to support the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art process technology.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

This is a hybrid role with a combination of practical work, based in our workshop and testing laboratories, coupled with office-based work to support the engineering department with day-to-day project management, product design, research &development.     

The position is initially for an immediate start, 15-month contract and will be based at our business premises in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your duties will include;

·          Learning engineering principles and applying them to real problems.

·          Learning aspects of multiple engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Control and Automation.    

·          Mechanical and electrical assembly.

·          Workshop maintenance and equipment Processes.

·          Operating and maintaining 3D Printers.

·          Producing engineering drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

·          Continued professional development.
