Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Preparing drawing packs for our operations and production department in support of equipment sales and spare parts contracts
  • Customising designs and drawing new variants of existing designs to meet client requirements
  • Producing and updating specifications and drawings for in house manufacture, and suppliers, as required
  • Helping create electronic archives
  • Organising drawings and design records into them to allow remote access and searching
  • Working with the Sales team to correctly identify customer requirements
  • Assisting with process trials and product development, both at the Group R&D facility in France and at customer sites worldwide. (At least 50% of your working time will be spent in England due to funding legislation)
  • Visiting customer sites to gather information regarding their equipment to allow us to reverse engineer designs to their requirements
