Summary
Seeking an Events Assistant Apprentice to provide a creative and exceptional service to our Events clients. The role will be based within our Meetings Management / Venue Find side of the department and will involve taking client briefs and finding venue solutions for their meetings and events.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Day to day role responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day enquiries and bookings for a range of clients and industries
- Negotiate with suppliers on the best possible rates and commissions
- Build strong working relationships with clients
- Upsell Gray Dawes services
- Build on industry and venue knowledge
- Support the whole of the Events department as required
- Attend internal and external supplier meetings

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- maths and English (grade 9-4/A*-C)

Other requirements
You may be requested to travel to other offices to attend team meetings and we have a company conference once a year, held on a Saturday. This role is computer based.
