Summary
An office administrator has a real responsibility, working on their own initiative to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. Your role contributes to the efficiency of the organisation, supporting particular areas, working across teams and resolving issues.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Undertake a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, completing set modules on time and attending college as necessary.
- Work shadow a colleague and develop an understanding of office procedures through on the job training.
- Use of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Learn Crown administrative procedures, and how to use in house software.
- Build relationships and maintain regular contact with customers, keeping them fully updated in relation to all open work orders for their site.
- Manage a busy telephone and email service used to log breakdowns from our vast client base across the UK.
- Provide administrative support to the UK Fleet of Fork Lift Engineers, planning and dispatching engineers where required Receive service repair and maintenance requests from customer and enter into in-house software.
- Processing completed work orders and team timecards.
- Review and resolve any invoice queries in line with company’s 5-day handling time.
