Summary

Chemi-Kal have an opportunity for a young enthusiastic person to come and work in our Warehouse. We are a small family business that is expanding. The ideal candidate will be given the opportunity to learn about our brand and the manufacturing process along with the smooth running of the warehouse.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

1. Learning to help mix the formulas with the aid of our new mixing tanks.

2. Once the item has been processed it needs to be dispensed using our new dispensing machinery.

3. Labelling (we print and design our own) boxing and loading items onto our vans.

4. Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and well organised, so items are easily found.

5. Being responsible for stock levels.

6. Liaising with the sales staff about orders and deliveries.

Other requirements

Able to problem solve delivery timescales and organise van routes by postcode to ensure efficient deliveries. The job is physical and requires lifting of 25L containers. Flexible, we are a small business so sometimes it may be required to help out in a different departments

About this company

We are a small business that is expanding, we manufacture our own cleaning products predominantly for the food industry. This is a regulated process due to the nature of the items. We only started manufacturing ourselves 3 years ago. With the investment of the machinery we are now able to offer our products to larger organisations which we have not been able to do so before

After this apprenticeship

We are expanding and have recently invested so plenty of opportunity to move into management or a role with more responsibility dependent upon aptitude.
