Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Your day will begin with preparing the workshop for the days pre-booked work
- Initially, you will work alongside our technicians carrying out servicing and repairs on all makes and models of cars
Jobs will include:
- General servicing
- Engine repairs
- Timing belts
- MOT prep and repairs
- Electrical repairs and electric and engine diagnostics

Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation

Other requirements
You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. You will be required to have a telephone interview with Yeovil College prior to your application being passed on.
