Summary

A fantastic chance for a candidate interested to get into Healthcare Recruitment and join the Permanent Recruitment Team. You will play an active role in liaising with the consultants, clients and candidates, taking and receiving calls.

Hourly rate will range from £6.80 to £8.79 per hour + Quarterly Bonuses, dependant on experience. 30 hour week. Hours may increase.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You should be confident/comfortable to make telephone calls and also have good basic IT skills.

  • Sourcing and calling candidates
  • Arranging interviews/prioritising candidates
  • Attending and arranging some client visits
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Advising candidates
  • Business development/maintain and build relationships
  • Send and receive emails
  • Receive and make telephone calls
  • To utilise emails, internal database, phone calls and post as means of contact
  • Work as team to achieve KPI’s

Course contents
  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements. This may include identifying labour market shortages and the demand for those with transferrable skills with the capacity to move from the legacy carbon economy into a green economy job.
  • Write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures
  • Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidate’s applications are processed efficiently
  • Qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates and internal teams
  • Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships
  • Identify and progress leads as required
  • Contribute to the development of a recruitment resourcing plan
  • Proactively and consistently strive to identify new candidate and client opportunities
  • Provide first line support for all enquiries
  • Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
  • Provide support to ensure that the candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
  • Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates
  • Accurately record candidate and client information on the recruitment database
  • Utilise database information in line with relevant legislation and best practice
  • Escalate non-compliance where appropriate
  • Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (e.g. interviews arranged, candidates sourced etc)

    • Full training will be given leading to a recognised Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship Standard Level 2 Qualification or Recruitment Consultant Level 3 (dependent on ability and experience)
    • Full on-the-job training will be delivered
    • Off-the-job training will be supported by our training provider - Davidson Training UK Ltd
    • You will complete the Functional Skills in maths and English up to and including Level 2 (if you don't already hold the equivalent)
    • All training will be delivered within the workplace during working hours

    All training will be carried out within the workplace during working hours.

    We aim for you to complete your Apprenticeship with the use and ease of eLearning, encouraging you to submit evidence via your eportfolio. 

    We will set you targets that are specific to your needs, training you as we go on what you need to know. The qualification will be adapted to suit your exact job description and your organisation’s needs; however, it is flexible and easily fits in with your normal every day work.

    You must complete at least 6 hours a week off-the-job training and this will be discussed and planned with your employer. This could be in the way of mentoring, job shadowing, spending time on set tasks and assignments and/or researching.

    Every 3 months your trainer and employer will complete a formal Progress Review with you. This will check that you are on target. If you are not then your plan will be amended and any additional training and development needs will be addressed.

    Full training will be given leading to a recognised Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Qualification.

    Off-the-job training will be supported by our Training Provider - Davidson Training UK Ltd.

    You will also complete the Functional Skills in maths and English up to and including Level 2 (if you already do not hold the equivalent).
