This role will expose you to others areas and divisions of the business, learning everything there is to know about how a successful merchant branch is run.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

As a varied and exciting role, the Customer Service Administrator Apprentice will be involved in a range of duties to support the Elliott’s branch.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Learning about the products and services that we offer to our customers
• Working on the service desk to support with customer queries
• Communicating with customers both face to face, via the phone and by email
• Assisting with invoicing and other administrative tasks
• Accurately taking messages and responding to customers
• Supporting accurate stock control
• Working closely with various departments and offering support to other branches
• Supporting the branch in adhering to health & safety regulations
• Assisting with pricing and quoting on a range of materials and services
• Using various IT platforms, including internal systems

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

GCSE in:
- English (grade C/4)
- Maths (grade C/4)
