Summary
We are looking for an Apprentice Administration Officer (Level 3 Business Administrator) to join our happy friendly community where children enjoy all aspects of school life. We have a passionate team of staff and governors committed to providing the highest education standards for all our learners.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
To undertake a variety of day-to-day administration tasks effectively, within our busy school office. Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, staff, pupils, parents and outside agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to gain experience in a growing and innovative environment with practical and professional training right from the start.
We require candidates to display a range of Administrator skills including:
- Minimum standard of GCSE (Grade A* - C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and web-based systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills & telephone manner
- Good communication skills both oral & written
- Reception duties both face-to-face and on the telephone to
- Parents, carers and other callers to the school dealing with routine enquiries and giving advice
- Good time management
- Ability to work as a team effectively
- The ability to prioritise workload working independently or work with others to meet deadlines
- Assist in organising events
- Dedicated to undertaking relevant training as necessary to complete qualifications and statutory procedures
- Flexible – working out of school hours on request with prior notice
