Summary

Working in a small, friendly team manufacturing and installing high temperature conveyor belts, this is a great opportunity for someone to start a career in manufacturing. Full training will be provided towards a level 2 manufacturing qualification which will form the basis for further specific training.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The role involves working with a wide variety of hand tools as well as different machinery specific to the business. The role will also involve working as part of a team on customer sites installing conveyor belts. Occasionally this will involve overnight stays.

Full in house training to be provided towards the successful completion of the Lean Manufacturing Operative standard which includes the EAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills) 603/3589/0, and Functional Skills in Maths and English if applicable.

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • Maths (grade 4)
