Summary
The Play Factory Thornaby are looking for someone to join our team to help with our expanding kitchen provision. The candidate should be looking to work in a hospitality environment in a busy kitchen cooking popular menu items, including the infamous Teesside Parmo. The successful candidate will gain a Level 2 Production Chef qualification.

The role is a 30 hour contract, with one day a week paid at college as part of your course, with the other hours being spread across a 7 day working week, including bank holidays, with a minimum of 1 full weekend off a month. Shifts to be confirmed.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Working in a 5 star food rated kitchen
- Working with the chef to prepare homemade meals
- Children's party food
- Awareness of food allergies
- General cleaning duties and food preparation
