Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Successful candidate will get a hands-on experience of working in an accounts office.
- Bookkeeping – at first processing prime records into spreadsheets, moving on to QuickBooks / Xero bookkeeping later.
- Payroll – processing payroll using computerised payroll system – the basics of a fixed payrolls at first, growing to understand employer’s pensions, statutory payments, holiday pay etc
- Admin & Client Care – Successful candidate will be required to complete a small amount of admin. Candidate will also be the first point of contact when candidates call so must therefore have a polite professional telephone manner and must also be a clear communicator.
- Job is 100% office based (no remote working)
