Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working from our modern, friendly office in Millbrook your day-to-day duties include:
- Dealing with email enquiries and responding with accurate quotes via SAP business one
- Invoicing sales orders from SAP for distribution & direct customers
- Co-ordinating orders for lubricant throughout the UK and Europe
- Liaising with agents, ports, and clients directly and ensuring complete and accurate information is recorded
- Liaising with our 3 rd party couriers to ensure on time deliveries
- Planning deliveries via our own lubricant vehicles throughout the UK
- Administration duties including CRM updating, compliance and KPI’s
- Keeping records of customer interactions via CRM
- Building sustainable relationships with our customers, through open and professional communications
- Following recognised guidelines, processes, and policies
- Generate sales opportunities in CRM
Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability.
Williams Shipping and Boom Training will provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the apprenticeship.

Level 3 Business Administrator Standard, which includes:
- Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Business
- You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
- You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
- End Point Assessment (online)
- Occasional group classes with other learners
- Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
- Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds
