The opportunity is for an Electro-Mechanical Apprentice Engineer to learn and qualify in the required engineering disciplines and assist the company in manufacturing carpet finishing equipment within its facility in Huddersfield.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Broad based learning of the main engineering principles
- Gain qualification and experience in electro-mechanical apprenticeship
- Assist in the manufacture of Sellers carpet finishing equipment along with the potential to work outside at customer premises
- Assist in the maintenance of inhouse and onsite machinery

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
Individual employers will set the recruitment and selection criteria for their apprenticeships.
In order to optimise success, candidates will typically have 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics, English and a Science.
Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
