Summary
During this apprenticeship you will be learning how to take orders, how to deal with customer complaints, and how to manage a busy shop. You also would be able to learn some barista skills on the side as you will be making drinks. You will also be learning some admin work on the side, such as making Rota, managing weekly budget for the shop.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Taking orders
- Managing stock
- Leading a shift dealing with tasks such as dealing with customers, complaints and staff
- Administration duties regarding rotas and shop budgeting
- Additional duties include barista skills

Course contents
Your training plan
You will study a Hospitality Manager Level 4 apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required. From this, you'll be able to learn management skills and will be able to be a floor manager.
Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.
