We are looking to recruit 1 apprentice, successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis. Apprentices shall be given the opportunity to complete recognized engineering qualifications at RTA. Do you have the skills we need? Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You would be working across a varied product range, and your duties/training may include;
· Understanding of materials
· Understanding of technical drawings
· Use of inspection equipment
· To learn Milling and Turning on both conventional and CNC machinery
· Dimensional Inspection
· Use of hand tools
· Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Procedures

Qualifications include;
- Diploma in engineering operations (skills)
- Certificate or Diploma in engineering operations (knowledge)
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required
There may be other role / company specific training available from time to time.
