An amazing opportunity to join the SES Group assisting the Head of Human Resources by providing support on generic HR issues, including all aspects of the employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement and other employee relations issues.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Duties to include but not limited to;
- Create and manage HR files
- Ensure the selection process meets the demands of the business
Identify recruitment initiatives - Arrange, support and/or attend recruitment events
- Arrange and participate in selection interviews
- Undertake vetting procedures adhering to SIA guidelines as appropriate
- Provide guidance on the vetting procedure
- Process incoming mail
- Answer employee questions
- Undertake research as required
- Create and distribute documents
- Compile reports and spreadsheets
- Maintain computer systems by updating and entering data
- Maintain records and administer all absences
- Support the HR management team in casework
- To undertake any other reasonable duty, which is appropriate to the pay band, when requested by senior staff.
- To be familiar with and comply with all SES Group and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
- To be aware of and work towards the SES Group mission, vision and values.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade Grade 4/C or equivalent)
