Production Operative Apprentice

Summary

The work is very intricate and is carried out in a modern, pleasant working environment. The apprenticeship will lead you into assembling, bonding and soldering electronic and other components that come together to make a finished probe and other accessories such as cables and connectors.

Annual wage: £12,313.60 a year

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8.00am - 1.00pm.
37 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Be quick to learn and keen to progress
Have good manual dexterity
Be able to produce fine solder joints (electronic work)
Be able to glue / bond very small components together
Work to high standards as attention to detail is crucial
Follow instruction both written and verbal
Computer literate
Work within a team or as an individual
