Summary
Using top of the range equipment to produce an array of printed products, you will quickly be expected to integrate into a busy print environment, producing and finishing to a high level. Our aim is to build for the future and secure the next generation of print professionals to join us and help grow together.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You will be shown and trained to run a variety of print finishing equipment, including (but not limited to):
- Folding machines
- Stitching/binding machines
- Laminating machines
- Die-cutting/creasing machines
In time, you will be able to make-ready (set up), run and maintain jobs as you move through the work list, liaising with other departments along the way.

Your training plan
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification obtained will be a Level 3 Print Technician Apprenticeship Standard and Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
- The apprentice will be given sufficient time to undertake their "off-the-job" requirement of the apprenticeship and throughout your time as an apprentice you will be supported by both Bendart Limited and the BPIF.
- You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available.
- Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your individual needs and business needs.
- Most training and studying will be site based.

Other requirements
Paid flu jabs and eye tests, wage increases based on productivity and company success, free parking, company pension scheme, 20 days paid holiday + all bank holidays + your birthday (paid). This can be a physical role, moving large pallets of material, and fitness is a consideration.
