We are a family-owned business specialising in high-end residential bespoke joinery that have been trading continuously since 1885. All Edson staff are time-served craftsmen with many years' experience of producing high quality joinery and cabinet work.

What you will do in your working day

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting in the manufacture of high-quality cabinetry
  • Undertake the correct training to work with full construction drawings
  • Undertake training to use machinery and hand tools correctly

The training you will be getting

  • The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry and Joinery Level 2
  • The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course
  • This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours
