What you will do in your working day
The Apprentice will be part of the Workshop Team and will assist with the following:
- Fitting components to commercial vehicles
- Building sub-assemblies
- Building and testing high pressure tube assemblies
- Vehicle wiring modifications
- Assembly of prototypes
The training you will be getting
Your training will take place within the workplace with day release for college course. This will be delivered at Wigan & Leigh College's Pagefield campus in Wigan
The end point is a Level 3 qualification (Equivalent to A Level) for the Engineering Fitter standard.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
On successful completion of the course the Apprentice may be offered a permanent position within ULEMCo with the potential to develop their career as ULEMCo’s business grows.
