What you will do in your working day

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Consultation
  • Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
  • Cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
  • Style and finish hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
  • Colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques
  • Perming hair
  • Receptionist skills
  • Helping stylist
  • General good house keeping

The training you will be getting

Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship 

One of the following qualifications will be achieved: 

  • City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals - Hairdressing 603/1379/1
  • TQUK Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) (RQF) 603/3101/X
  • VTCT - Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) 603/1323/7 

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course

This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln College one day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours
