The role will be based in KS1 and involve supporting and enabling all students to access the curriculum. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.

What you will do in your working day
Duties Include:
- Working with individuals or small groups of children under the direction of teaching staff
- Establishing positive relationships with all pupils
- Implementing planned learning activities, as outlined by the class teacher
- Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
- Promoting positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies
- Always respecting confidentiality
- Providing feedback to the teacher on pupil progress
- Where necessary, supporting student(s) with personal needs, including toileting, dressing, feeding etc
- Developing the students’ self-esteem and encouraging independence
